MyTeachingStrategies is an educational app developed by Teaching Strategies Inc. It is designed to help teachers capture and document children's progress and share it with their families. Currently, the app is only available for customers who subscribe to both MyTeachingStrategies and Tadpoles.
With MyTeachingStrategies, teachers can easily capture photos, videos, and text notes of children's activities and tag them with objectives, dimensions, and preliminary ratings. The captured documentation can then be shared with families and uploaded to the MyTeachingStrategies platform. The app also allows teachers to track attendance for both children and staff and create daily reports for record-keeping and parent communication.
One of the key features of MyTeachingStrategies is its focus on security and confidentiality. All documentation captured within the app remains within the app until sent to Tadpoles/MyTeachingStrategies. This ensures that any photos or videos taken within the app do not mix with the user's personal camera roll. Files captured using the app can only be sent to Tadpoles/MyTeachingStrategies, ensuring the privacy of the captured data.
Please note that this app is currently only available for teachers who have a MyTeachingStrategies and Tadpoles account. It is not accessible for Family Central users. MyTeachingStrategies is powered by GOLD, providing an accurate and ongoing assessment of children's development and learning from birth through third grade.
